CA to Be Continued…
MY ROLE
Experience Developer
I partnered with designers, curators and fabricators from Concept through Design Development, and Implementation phases. I sketched out ideas, prototyped with visitors, iterated, and implemented final experiences based on the user testing.

CA to Be Continued, Oakland Museum of California
A section of the Gallery of California History that focuses on people coming to California from 1975 to the present.
Visitors can explore The Garage, a room filled with early innovations in computers and technology created in California from the 1970s to the present. Inside is an interactive installation called “Kontakt”, created in collaboration with the art collective Boutique Vizique. It enables visitors to playfully interact with other people by using their bodies to control the electrical devices that surround us.
At the center of the space is an installation called Influencing the World, where visitors can explore the innovative ideas that have come out of California since 1975, and have had an impact beyond the state’s boundaries. Through objects, interactive drawers, videos, and playlists people can meet former gang members of Homeboy Industries, T.U.R.F dancers from Oakland filmed by Yak Films, or burners from Burning Man.
